As I was conducting my research on which games has the best odds to win in casino, I stumbled upon this article wherein the best answer stated that games like "Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, and Roulette" give us the best chance of winning. I was so surprised that the odds of winning any Blackjack games is 42%, for those who have experienced playing Blackjack in casinos, I wonder if this is true?

This would be true if you were playing with legit people, with casinos, chances are about 10%.

No - if you use the play perfect basic blackjack then the house edge is only 0.5% which I guess puts your odds at 49.5% meaning it is the best game you can play at the casino(?)

@lewisw I agree. The RTP of blackjack games is usually above 99% - not sure where you got your information from @evcj_

@evcj_ Thanks so educate me as I am not a big user of Quora - people that upvote this type of content can say anything they like I guess? Would they quote a reliable source for this information because I can't find one?

Yeah, Blackjack is one of the better games if you play smart. Iโ€™ve heard that 42% stat before too. Itโ€™s not a guarantee, but itโ€™s definitely better than a lot of other games.ย

@arniebaes It's a strange stat and it doesn't really make sense to me...

@graham I think that is entirely up to the user, that's why I asked people in this forum if they think they provided accurate information as I don't have any idea if what they said is true. With that being said, I conducted further digging and I stumbled upon this research in Cleveland State University that shows the probability of winning in blackjack.

@evcj_ Thanks for the link it was an interesting read. At the end of the day, it is not worth getting upset about these things. It would be great if everything online was true and factual but that is never going to be the case. Spend time instead perfecting your blackjack game so that you have the best chance of winning.

@graham Yup, that's why when I create post/comments in this forum, I try my best to do research first because I don't want to mislead members of our community. I also agree that honing my skills will be the best option to win blackjack games. Thank you for the advice!

I've heard the same. That the odds of winning is 42,22%. And the likelihood of loosing is 49,10%, because of the push.

@evcj_ You are welcome. I have played quite a lot of blackjack over the years and I never once concerned myself with the RTP percentage or the odds of winning because I really don't think that this makes a great deal of difference. Good luck to you with your blackjack ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh I've never heard of this before, I've never thought that there's an exact probability involved when it comes to blackjack, but i guess it depends just like what the other ppl said.
