I think card counting in blackjack can still be effective, but modern casinos have made it much harder. With continuous shuffling machines and multiple decks in play, the chances of successfully counting cards are significantly reduced. Plus, if the casino suspects you're counting, they can shuffle the deck prematurely or even ask you to leave. So, i guess Itโ€™s not the golden strategy it once was, but for those who master it, is there still some potential?

I dont think its that applicable anymore. Woth casinos being against this strategy I think they've come up with a lot of ways to ensure as much as possible that you can't do card counting. Maybe a different and newer strategy would be better

I don't think they allow it anymore. In most cases they'll ask you to leave.ย

I did some research and it seems that the craft is still used even to this day. While most casinos have invested a lot to stop players from using it, some people ae still using the strategy like in this article. However, its acknowledged that the risks outweigh the rewards.

I used to count cards in blackjack but gave up doing this a long time ago for the reasons given in the responses. Most (if not all) casinos will kick you out if they suspect you of card counting even though they have these new measures in place. It is not an illegal activity but the casino owners see this as a potential threat to their profits so they will ask you to leave.

Yeah, card counting can still work, but itโ€™s definitely not as easy as it used to be. Casinos have gotten smarter with all their countermeasures.

card counting has become tough. Even the experts claim tough luck. The casinos are having none of it.

@pkyonze Counting cards also is way harder than it looks to some people.

@facebook-yemburzalkhan I don't think it's possible anymore. Either way, you are risking being kicked out of the casino.ย

If you attempt it and do not succeed, you will be kicked out from the casino.

You'll most probably end up getting kicked out of the casino, if they find out.

I think they still do it but rarely. House rules have become more stricter as the modern casino era (which we have now) continues to expand and well that involves leaving old tricks behind, besides them getting smarter.

They make it impossible to do. Cameras, security, and the Croupier, theyโ€™re all watching what youโ€™re doing, and if they suspect that thereโ€™s a chance that the cards are being counted, theyโ€™ll ask you to leave.ย

Don't think it's still a viable startegy as most if not all casinos hate it and clamp down on it of its noticed and they would definitely notice.
