What would you say is the golden rule? Learn to bluff well, don't play consistently, and only play with weaker players than you?

  • Have a clear state of mind
  • Swallow your ego on the table
  • Stick to your limits
  • Play within your roll

They may sound like cliche gambling rules

@tituskrit Sometimes I think that the tactics and rules of one game can be transferred to others. Thanks for the reply. ๐Ÿ™‚

With poker I would recommend that you start playing against weaker players but then move up to tables where the skill levels are on par with yours or slightly better. There is so much to learn with poker and you are not going to learn much always playing weaker players. Acquire as many tips and tricks as you can to become a better player.

Based on what I understood when I was conducting my research to prepare on our game night during Fridays, it is best to understand theย tendencies of your opponent. Understanding your opponents' behaviors, patterns, bluffs can be a good strategy to win the game.

The "Don't go broke in a limped pot" rule. This hits differently when you experienced it the first time. Never ever do this.
