I've been seeing a lot of members mentioning blackjack in their comments on various posts so it seems to be a common game that many play or are familiar with. That being said, I'd like to know you guys got into it and your experiences!
I learned to play blackjack from my cousin who was is a mad gambler. I was a teenager at the time many years ago. In the UK we have a similar game called "Pontoon" which has slightly different rules and I learned this first. It was easy to change to blackjack once I had learned Pontoon.
Blackjack is my favorite game to play at online casinos and at land-based casinos on the rare occasions I visit them. There is some skill required to play the game properly and there are various strategies that you can use to enhance your chances of winning. You need to know when to "stand" and when to "hit". Other strategies such as doubling down can increase your chances of a win.
I learned it spontaneously a few years ago, with the help of a good friend. I wouldn't call myself a pro at it, but you can always improve. ๐
I learnt it from hanging out at the local casino with some big timers. Passed the knowledge to my younger bro who is now a pro at it
I got into blackjack cause ofย my guys who always played it during weekend hangouts. The mix of luck and strategy fascinated me, and i got tired of being left out. Told em to show me the ropes and well, I quickly picked up the basics.ย
I haven't played It yet, but by reading the comments it seems worth playing.
This is odd but I learned it from an ASMR Video, I was randomly scrolling in youtube for card sounds since I found it relaxing and then I found a japanese asmr lady playing blackjack for ASMR and there I learned the basics of it and gained knowledge on how to play it
I learned from a relative. I was staying at their house at the time and they would be always playing blackjack. They also made good winnings so definitely that got me interested.ย
I am still in the process of learning it, we just played Blackjack last week and I really enjoyed it. The first person that got me interested in it is someone here in this forum, I was looking for a game suggestion that can be played with friends and is fun to play.ย
I've learn blackjack in middle school, which is like my very first card game i ever learned.
Thanks for answering everyone; loved seeing all the various comments I was able to receive for this post. It was a lot of fun reading about your first time experiences and the people who taught you the game.ย
I have a cousin who is an avid gambler even though he loses money a lot. He is the one who introduced me to most of the games including blackjack.ย
I first learned blackjack in my friend's office. She was going on a casino after her shift and wanted to practice it with me, and i was fairly shocked how it was pretty simple to understand. The probability and greed though made me stay because it was very exiciting.
I am still trying to learn it actually. One of my friends plays it and likes it a lot so I am trying to learn it from him. I am finding it a little difficult but hopefully with time I'll master it hehe!
I got into blackjack because a friend taught me the basics a while back. We were hanging out at his place, and he showed me how the game works; it was a lot more strategic than I expected. I'm still learning and trying to improve my skills though.
