Are the odds better when the teams are already playing?

It's all about timing and quick decisions, if you can read the gameโ€™s flow, sometimes the odds shift in your favor.

Yes,there are lots of benefits,Live betting offers an extra layer of excitement as it allows punters to stay engaged with the game, which heightens their emotional investment in the outcome. It also allows bettors more opportunities to wager on different aspects of a match than just who will win; most bookies provide plenty of live markets such as how many corners there will be in a certain period as well as props like โ€˜which side will score next?'.

The main benefit to me of live betting is the excitement factor. I have often watched football matches live on TV and seen an opportunity for a bet. There tend to be lots of different markets available for live betting so if nothing comes to mind immediately these can steer you down a particular path.

I've made the best winnings on live betting. The pros of betting live are countless. You can watch the game progress and you can make a better bet while analyzing the situation. Example I can give is when the last season Werder were playing against Bayern. Bayern were 1.10 to win and Werder were smt like 12. I started watching the game and something like 10 minutes in I saw that Bayern are waaaay off pace. I placed a bet on Werder and they won 1-0.

Yes, live betting gives you an increase in receiving better odds because you are able to make the analysis in realtime compared to wagering pre-game.

Of course. Live betting is better as you can follow the game and make decisions using the information coming in. When you place bets before the game happens, there is no flexibility. You are stuck with what you set.

A "pro" tip I can give as an example is this: Last season Liverpool won like 10 times at least when they were behind in the result. I made several bets on live when they go 1-0 down. In this way the odds go up. It's a trick I've been using for many years.ย

"Wow, great insights shared here! It's actually very interesting to hear how everyone approaches live betting. @Yordan, your example of betting on Liverpool especially when they were down is a really great strategyโ€”since liverpool have the reputation for late comebacks!

But Iโ€™m curiousโ€”how do you all manage your emotions expecially when the game gets intense? It is very challenging for me to keep my calm , I generally start making many impulsive decisions .LOL

@dany This is an interesting strategy, but I think it only works on certain teams and I'm guessing it depends on the 'culture' of teams. If I'm going to adapt this strategy in some of my games, I think I would place my bets on teams that are most likely not to 'quit' after being down or teams that are 'gritty'.
