Is there a winning way for Poker? I'm new to it so I don't have way to know.
When it was my first time, some of my friends told me to completely start at lower stakes and to learn/memorize pre-flop ranged charts. This also includes learning flop strategies as well as knowing the position, opponent, bet values or when to bluff. Also include learning what they call the "meta" of the stakes as this will help you adapt. Definitely observe more games and practice it if you have the time. This is basically some of the simple things you need to keep in mind when starting to play.ย
The first thing you can do is read up on the game, rules, and tricks. Bluffing is also very important in poker. Is that good for you? As well as getting to know your opponent and seeing how they play. Avoid being emotional. Choose your stakes wisely. Size your bets well. If you feel unsure, then you can fold.
@amyxx Yup this sounds like a familiar thing to me in poker. Players are usually very careful of their behaviour and mannerisms when it comes to poker. Minimal reaction is the key so you're unpredictable
