Hey everyone! I was reminiscing about some unusual bets and realized there's a whole world of weird and wacky gambling stories out there. What's the most unexpected or unusual thing you've ever bet on?
Although ive never bet on anything out of the ordinary, i have heard of stories of people who do. Bets on live events and such and the more insane your call is, the higher the stakes are.

It was a rare pokemon card. I am a huge pokemon nerd back then and I love collecting cards and I basically join different facebook or social groups if anyone sells them. And there's this one community I've joined in where they were giving away rare pokemon cards or packs that is hard to come by but I have to gamble my way to get it.
I dont think I've ever bet on anything that I would have considered strange haha. I hope to hear from other members though
The strangest thing I’ve ever bet on was whether a paper plane which we made could fly across the whole lecture hall or not. It was one of those heat of the moment thing during a particularly boring class in college.
One of my friend bet me $10 that it wouldn't make it past the first few rows. But, defeating all odds, that little plane flew all the way to the back. It shook everyone’s face, Its was worth more than the $10 I won.
Idk if it's strange but it was a painting. I just really loved the painting and I thought it would be perfect for my unit so I had to go all out just to get it lol but it got really insane bets so unfortunately I wasn't able to win.
@abaes yep , And its far more fun that it sound. All the credit goes to few crazy people who are courageous enough to do these pranks and fun even after getting various warning from the administration.

In school days we used to bet on erasers, sharpners, notebook pages and what not. Good old days. Hahah.
I guess we all learned the art of gambling early, just with school supplies instead of cash. 😆
@adtya Definitely, still remember those days. There was no grief of loss. Just joy of winning.
