Besides the fun and excitement in casinos I know there are cold hard facts about the negative things of gambling that isnt talked about upfront. So what are some unspoken truths you know about gambling?ย
Common knowledge but that the house always has an edge and that the addiction's as real as anything out there.
Yes, the house always has the advantage, but maybe poker is an exception.ย
I agree with Ishtar and Amyxx about the house always having the advantage. This is why you need to be careful with your strategy and know not to get carried away when playing
I dont know if this is considered an "unspoken truth" haha but maybe that casino staff are not kind to you because they want to be your "friend" or be on your "good side" per say but because it's their job. Just wanted to mention this one since the one regarding the house always having an edge has been mentioned a couple times now.ย
I do not think I know of any unspoken truths yet about gambling. Maybe I will search and read first then maybe come to share what I have learned.
@heyitsky Actually this is kind of true. This is also why usually they choose people with good looks for the job so the sense of "trust" improves more
@ray Yeah its kind of sad and sounds deceitful. But that's the reality of it I guess. I appreciate the staff being nice but I cant help but think how fake it is
the amount of su1c1de case due to losing
If you let your emotions run the show, you are right on the highway to hell. Keep your emotions in check and maintain a sober mind at all times.
How bad of an addiction it can be if uncontrolled.
@facebook-skibidirizz well that took a dark turn. But yes this does happen and its a sad reality too
Agree with everyone here that the house always has an edge. Plus they will manipulate you in a way such that you lose moneyย
