The more I trade online the more I realize that stock trading is just a suited-up version of gambling. Someone change my mind

Funny enough people go to Ivy League schools to study stock trading. When you lay it bear, it's just gambling for the rich.ย

I think the same way, so unfortunately, I can't change your opinion.

@hildaw those people at Wall street are uncouth just like outlaw gamblers. Of course with good suits and fancy watches 😁

@tituskrit You are right when you consider what is going on with stock trading. Traders will tell you that it takes years of training and experience to become successful but I would argue that applies to things like sports betting and poker as well. Thanks for your amusing observation - it made me laugh ๐Ÿ™‚

I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with traders in London some years ago and I have to say they are some of the loudest and rudest people I have ever met!

according to the comments it sounds about right and you've received similar perspectives. Although Im not much familiar with stock trading Im assuming I'd probably pick up on it easier than I'd think since I'm familiar with gambling (?)
