Have you guys heard of Gin Rummy? it's a fun card game that I used to play before when I was younger, it's kind of similar to Poker. But recently I've learned that it also exists in some casinos but only for "private card rooms" as it may take a long time to play it. Anyone tried or seen this in casinos before?ย
I think it's apparently for the folks who enjoy a game that lasts longer than a cocktail. I'd love to give it a shot someday, sounds intriguing!
@khalidbedouin you should definitely give rummy a try. Like @ray I learned the game when I was young and have many fond memories playing it with family and friends. It is right to say that it is similar to poker and was probably responsible for my developing an interest in poker years later. I have not come across it at online casinos but then I have never looked for it.
I remember playing it as a kid too. Interesting to hear itโs in some casinos now 🤗ย
@khalidbedouin Yes, definitely play it! Though I think you may have to research or look first of casinos who has it because I think it's pretty uncommon, but im sure big casinos have it!
@abaes Yes, i loved this game when I was younger and it branched out to learning new card games in the long run and I actually felt joy when learning some casinos have it integrated as gambling games now. 😀
Rummy is so much fun to me and I loved this when I was a kid. Im fairly surprised this isnt as popular as other casino games because it could easily be a poker variant. I wanna know and ill probably explore if online casinos has this but they probably do!
Rummy has always been one of those games that just hits different, especially when you know itโs got roots in casino play too. Iโve seen it pop up in private card rooms, but itโs not as mainstream as poker or blackjack. Feels like a hidden gem that more people should be getting into.
Haven't seen it in casinos but I enjoy playing it a lot! First played when I was a kid and rummy is so fun. I agree that you can see some of rummy in poker if you look carefullyย
well, I think that Gin Rummy is not as popular in casinos as much as blackjack or poker for example, I think it has a niche audience especially in private rooms.
The main reason why it is not that much in mainstream is because it is more of a strategic and slower paced game that too in a fast-paced environment like casinos, However its cool though.
