Have you ever gone to a significant gambling events? (World Series of Poker, Kentucky Derby, etc.)

Not yet. Hoping to one day though. Fingers crossed

I haven't yet unfortunately but I want to at least experience it once in my life. I imagine they would be extravagent and thousands lf people would flock to attend it.

I haven't been either, but I hope I get the chance to go. Sounds exciting.

I think that most of the users of this forum have had their greatest experiences in the online environment or in not so flashy physical places/events.

But just out of curiosity, I would like to ask @graham his experience regarding this. I'm pretty sure he'll have a nice story to tell. 😀

@abelbm Yeah. I think majority of the members of this forum only plays/gambles online. I am also waiting for Graham's response, I feel like he will have an experience or two that are worth sharing 🙂

I've been to one in Solaire Resort Casino event because I was invited by a gambler friend. Honestly, it was kinda too overwhelming for me and I just felt like everyone around me knows what they're doing and I don't. Even though I do play and such it was hard to communicate or start conversations in the event. I wanna blame it to me being an introvert but I wanna say it's moreso because of social status. I've seen local celebrities and performers in the event so you already know what kind of nature that is and it's draining lol. Regardless, it was a little fun I will say just being a watcher to everything.

Nope not yet but they’re definitely on my bucket list. The energy at those events must be insane, specially with all the high-stakes action going on
