Gamblers tend to run into issues when things start to go south but there's always various triggers that lead to that outcome. So what should you focus on keeping at when gambling? Greed for winnings and money or being too confident in your bets?

Both are dangerous. Greed makes us constantly think about money, and if you trust yourself too much, you don't think about the possibilities of making mistakes. When you play, you have to think about everything.

Interesting question thanks. For me, greed is the more dangerous of the two. If you are overconfident about your bets then this can soon be "knocked out of you" when you experience a few losses. But greed is always there no matter what happens. Let's be honest, greed is one of the main drivers of gambling and always will be. The trick here is to be strong and always in control of what you are doing.

I think greed is the worst as you have your eyes on the money and can lead into addiction if not checkedย

I feel you need to have a balance between greed and overconfidence. You need to be greedy for you to place riskier bets to have higher wins, and a sense of overconfidence where you believe your bets are going to align. A surplus of either greed and overconfidence is what will tank your game. But overall, I'd say they are good traits to have when gambling.

For me i feel its greed, with overconfidence you more likely to have it smacked out of you with each consecutive loss so you're more likely to back out than dig yourself a hole. But with greed, its the opposite its less likely you call yourself to order before its too late and dig urself a hole of depression and despair cause you went to far. They obviously both cloud your judgement but i feel greed moreso. Overcofidence tends to stem from ability in the first place but greed is plain old greed. There's a reason its among the seven sins.

Overconfidence will make you look like a scammer especially in physical casinos..just know how to back it up. On the other hand, greed can get you emotional and impulsive. Besides losses you may end up an addict, so yeah greed is the worst

I agree with the other commenters I think that both greed and overconfidence are dangerous when it comes to gambling. But out of the two greed would be #1 as it can lead you to a gambling addiction because you're so focused on gaining as many winnings as you can and not getting contented.

I would say both are dangerous since they can both lead to bad consequences. Judging from the comments on here we are all on the same boat about this haha. Avoid being greedy or overconfident when playing is well noted! Haha

I think what is a more dangerous drive is greed because if you are greedy everytime you play whether win or lose you will continue. Greed is very controlling and it can make you lose your mind trying to go after money.
