Do you think online casinos will take over physical casinos? Will physical casinos die out over time?

Physical casinos are an experience. Nothing can beat that. Online casinos are very popular and will continue to grow but won't replace physical ones

@graham The Macau casinos sound and look so good. I want to go there physically once and enjoy the experience!

@kayden48 I only went to one casino in Macau and I can't remember the name of it (maybe the Wynn Casino) but it was really big and had a great atmosphere. If you get the chance to visit Macau then I would definitely recommend it. There are other things to see and do apart from casinos.

i don't think offline casinos will die out. You just don't get the thrilling experience and fun when playing it online

@facebook-sonnyborja Exaxtly even if you're an introverted person like myself, every now and then you want a night out with the boys just to have some fun. So physical casinos are not going anywhere anytime soon.

@kayden48 A funny story when I last visited Macau. It is close to Hong Kong (you get the ferry boat) but the two places are very different. My wife was with me and was expecting Macau to be a mega shopping place like Hong Kong - but it isn't! Where the casinos are is all glitz and glamor but away from that Macau has an old-world feeling. I got into a lot of trouble for this 🤣ย

So if you are expecting glitz and glamor in Macau then you are only going to find it with the casinos!

@graham Oh that's interesting! Macau usually isn't that well known among tourists but I have heard their casinos are popular. Is it unsafe there around the casinos though ?

@kayden48 I am not sure about the safety aspect TBH. There was certainly no trouble when I visited but that was back in 2008. If you are going to visit then I would recommend that you take precautions like not carrying a lot of cash and so on. Macau is not famous for being a violent place so I think you will be fine.

Land-based or physical casinos will never die unless another pandemic happens that can possibly shut down those casino businesses. I've been to many physical casinos and honestly they just never run out of people. And people might think it's mostly older generation but no I see lots of age groups there so it's definitely not because the generation nowadays just prefer online. Even if the revenue they gain decreases in the coming years, physical casinos has a lot of impact with the economy now to just simply be taken over.ย
