There are many tipsters and some are saying that they have above 80% success rate for bets. Can they be trusted?

I think it is more likely a scam.

IMO there are some tipster that have good knowledge about the game and can give good predictions. But what i have been wondering always is why the hell if I have succesfull betting strategy would want to sell it or share it with someone...So that's peculiar for me 🧐ย

Hungry for knowledge ๐Ÿง

I have used football tipsters in the past and they have been fine. Some years ago I was paying a subscription to a guy that was very good at picking out value bets for the lower leagues in English football. All of the focus is on the Premier League and bookies often get the odds wrong the farther down the pecking order that you go.

I kept records of all the bets I made with this guy (he gave 2-3 tips a week) and I made a profit overall. Before you ask - of course he provided some losing tips but overall his tips were winners. The thing is with a service like this you are only going to keep on paying the guy if he is making you a profit. I think I used his service for more than a year because he was that good.

To keep a low profile I had to open several different accounts with different sportsbooks as there was a good chance I would have been banned if I placed the bets with just one or two bookies. No doubt there are scams out there but I was lucky enough to find a good service.

@anton Exactly, except selling and sharing the strategy is the way to make money off of it and not directly using it.,

At the end of the day, man has to eat. I feel it's just one of those things where if the tipster has a high success rate then why not sell their services. I'm sure they're placing their own bets as well. So it's an all round win for them. The problem is the scamming tipsters who market fake success rates, take your money, disappear and block you

If the tipster has legit success rates and can prove it through his service why not? In the long run both of you are benefiting anyway. As long as they're not scamming anybody and their services are reliable there's no issue in that just as Stormy mentioned. I know there are tipsters who may be scammers but I feel there's always one in any business or service who's looking to take advantage of people. You just have to find the right one; similar to Graham's experience but I also understand Anton's point.ย

@anton I would suggest that the answer to this is mitigating risk. What would you sooner have 1000 people paying you $29 a month to share your secrets or placing large bets yourself to try and accumulate the same money? The subscription model works best every time.

Even if you only get 100 people using your service that is still $2900 a month guaranteed. Then of course you will place bets on the tips that you provide to your subscribers and the winnings all goes into the pot. If only I was consistent at predicting the outcomes of football matches ๐Ÿ™

Football tipsters are a scam.. If the predictions go right then they are legit, if they mess then its a glitch in the matrix.. They are also gambling, only they taking their game an upper notch and selling their gamble to others

I dont think football tipsters are not that liable as there is still chance of losing. It would be better to bet on your own instead.ย

@facebook-sonnyborja Yes but don't you think that a person who is non stop betting on football and follows every bit of information will be more informed and be able to place a better bet?

I do not think that they are a scam as there is still some reliability. However, I would not suggest just trusting anyone or relying on this 100%. I think that this is more beneficial for the football tipsters than it is for those availing their services even though there is somewhat a benefit for both.
