I find PayPal to be a problematic payment platform when using it in online casinos. Hardly no recourse if their is a dispute in payment. Do you use PayPal? If you do, why? If not why?ย
I don't use paypal but use crypto and some other platforms. Why's paypal problematic?
I have used PayPal. Pros include fast reflection and versatility as you can use it on several platforms. It is also relatively secure. Cons, it can put your money on hold till you give up. It also sucks on case of disputes. I prefer crypto more
@tituskrit I agree with you. PayPal are notorious for holding money in someone's account in aย bid for you to get frustrated and forgo your money. Hate it! You give up and lose your money.ย
I don't use PayPal for gambling. And thanks for this discussion, because you shared eye-opening facts.
I think there moreย cons compared to pros. The cons that I can think of are the following:
- Fees, instead of just paying the exact amount that you are supposed to pay. Additional fees maybe charged for currency conversion or withdrawing money from the bank.
- They can freeze your account if they suspect that you are involved in fraudulent activities.
- Availability, not all regions are catered by PayPal for gambling transactions due to local regulations
I have had mixed experiences with PayPal in online casinos. Convenient, but disputes and account restrictions can be a hassle. Lack of recourse is a major con. I'm cautious and exploring alternatives like crypto and Skrill.
