I at times travel a lot and have encountered platforms that aren't accessible in some parts of the world, calling for VPN use and such. What is your experience with such restrictions and which platforms can be accessed everywhere with minimal restrictionsย

I think that most people do use VPN to gain access to use platforms that are unavaible or banned where they have traveled. I think the restrictions depend on the country you are in. I think there are more restrictions in other countries.

There are many websites and platforms that are not available in many countries for instance in Pakistan where I live, we don't have access to many online gambling platform so we use vpn to access that platforms.

I live in a country heavyย  on online censorship, so I'm no stranger to VPNs. But I've noticed that some platforms are more VPN-friendly than others. Has anyone tried using RDPs instead of VPNs? I've heard they're more reliable.

For those who are not familiar with RDPs (like me). I did my own research and here is what I found:

"RDP is designed for managing a remote desktop, essentially giving you control from a distance."

Here is the entire article if some of you might want to read it.

This one can be a right pain.

VPNs are hit and miss but if I'm on the European continent I just keep my phone data on and it still thinks I'm back in the UK if I avoid the wifi...

@lewisw you really need a stable VPN for that

Guys if a casino doesn't allow the use of a VPN, using one can result in losing your funds. Here you can check casinos which accept playing with a VPN.

@tituskrit no - by using my mobile data instead of Wifi I do not need a VPN at all.

The signal bounces back to the UK so the websites think that the device is still in the UK.
