Not much complaints in my experience with verification processes, don't play often though. But i'll always favour longer verification processes than no verification at all due to security concerns.

@facebook-anikeadaeze But aren't you concerned that the casino has your personal details and they can be hacked at any time? The casinos will always say it is for security reasons but it protects them more than it does you. A lot of casinos have to have a verification process as part of the KYC (know your customer) terms of their license.

The aim of KYC is to ensure that underage gambling doesn't take place (you will get no argument from me on that) and to prevent money laundering. When the casino has verified who you are through the provision of your personal details they are more secure and not you. While there might be a small risk of someone taking hold of your account if it is not verified it doesn't warrant a lengthy process in my opinion.

These verification processes are straight-up annoying, but they're a necessary evil. If you're whining about it, just remember it's what keeps your money safe..

@graham Agree with your pov and you make valid points especially about the lengthy processes not been warranted. Lengthy verification processes do be tiring and downright annoying sometimes as well.

@facebook-anikeadaeze You are so right that a lengthy verification process is tiring. I also wonder if there is another reason why casinos take a long time to verify accounts. Some casinos will ask you to verify your account when you want to make a withdrawal. So it is in their interest that they hold on to your money for as long as possible. Do you think there is truth in this or am I being over cynical 🤣

@graham You can never know with these guys, they don't play fair. Wouldn't be surprised to find out a very cynical, probably with even psychological reasons behind it.

@facebook-anikeadaeze They certainly don't play fair. I've had incidents where I have gone to withdraw a large amount and suddenly I'm waiting weeks, even months for verification. One I even had to raise a case with the gambling ombudsman

@lewisw Nah! That's not a nice experience at all and they forget the customer is king and has got lots of options amongst their competitors. Lots of establishments just neglect decent customer service and satisfaction these days.

@facebook-anikeadaeze You are so right that they don't play fair. Why should they make you wait for your money due to intentional practices or just bad organization? I am sure that checking player verifications is something that online casinos would rather not do as they have the cost of employing people to manually check things. So, if they can earn interest on your money by making the process very long it will go some way to recovering the costs.
