I've been looking into casino loyalty programs lately and wondering if they're really worth the hype. Do you think these programs actually give players a fair advantage, or are they just a marketing gimmick to keep us playing longer?
I never use loyalty programs although sometimes you are enrolled in them automatically. I look at it this way - online casinos want to make money and hate giving it away. So I would definitely agree that they are a marketing gimmick designed to make us play longer and spend more money. Is there anyone here that regularly uses a casino loyalty program that can tell us otherwise?
i've never use it. but i think it might be beneficial only for the short-term
I agree with @graham 's take. I think it's more of a marketing gimmick to get more people to play more than the idea of an actual loyalty program. I personally haven't seen any one of those yet in casino sites I've been to but I feel like the general public wouldn't really care about it as much unless it provides something really really good.
Some have decent perks, but others are just meeh.
I dont think these are really useful. If anything, maybe a very small perk but mostly just a marketing gimmickk really.ย
@graham's take is very insightful. I have never used any loyalty program provided by the casinos but some usually have some nice deals on them.ย
I didnt know loyalty programs existed in Casinos. It sounds good in my opinion but at the same time like everyone said it's mostly made as a marketing strategy to get more players playing in the casinos that offer it. But im sure some programs are actually beneficial.
@facebook-samanthadelafuente Hoping as well that there are or at least one or two that are beneficial. That would be great for those who are big on playing in casinos and gambling
Depends - who's the one making money? You or the casino?
Like Graham said, most are marketing gimmicks and i especially liked the part about casinos hating to lose money so its going to be more beneficial for them but there are definitely perks to them cause if there are no perks people wouldn't buy into them andย thats basically a failed marketing strategy. So it could depend on the structure of the loyalty program and the individual buying into the program, how often you play, spare income and all that. There are perks to it.
@facebook-samanthadelafuente Yeah, loyalty programs can be hit or miss. Have you come across any programs that actually offer decent perks or rewards?
@ray The loyalty programs at online casinos that I have read about provide bonuses for making deposits on certain days, cashback offers, free spins, and so on. IMO these are all designed to get you to spend more money and not to go elsewhere for your casino games. I don't blame them for doing this as they need to keep as many of their existing customers as they can as it can be very expensive to acquire new ones.
Casino loyalty programs are pretty much bait to keep you hooked. Theyโre not about rewarding you
