I know a friend who won millions after placing a bet on a jackpot.
I was going home from my previous work one day and I saw my friend outside and was inviting me to play casino and I was tired, but I couldn't refuse my friend cause I felt bad and he was so excited so I joined him. Long story short, he was in for $500, out for $6500 at 3/5. It was a very LONG journey though. He kept thanking me at the end because apparently my mere existence there helped him achieve that lol and I was just there all tired watching him and be a support. Crazy time.
Man seems you guys are aquainted with people who've won big. 52k and 1m that's a lot. Never had anyone close win that big except a guy that won enough to put a down payment on a house.

Reading the winning stories from this post makes me want to bet even more. I don't have any crazy winning stories as I'm more of a casual bettor, my largest win is only around $400 but it is inspiring to see winnings as large as $100k.
I used to do a lot of lucky 15s where there was value in each way for horse racing.
In effect, they were like a positive EV lottery ticket.
I never won the jackpot but did win 4 grand on one wonderful occasion!
