I noticed that most members are crypto enthusiast. So the bitcoin halving happened this year and compared to other years when it underwent halving, its price increase is still not significant. Is it safe to assume that this year's event was a flop? I understand that it needs more time, but it picked fairly well in the last halving (2020), a 12% appreciation within a week of the event
I agree tho, this halving was kind sucks 😭😭 only bitcoin, eth and a few alts make a run and others are just stagnant or even declined... tho this cycle could be different due to the economic situation (high interest rate, wars, recession etc.) but if $73k was the TOP i suggest you better quit.
I think Bitcoin has had one of the worst years, yet it was a halving year. Beats the logic we relied on
Lots of people suffered loses, we can now only hope it goes up to be honest. Kinda bad situation but it's bitcoin so there is hope
It seems like it thus far - who knows though, people may look back in future years and determine that the halving was a significant event (for better, or for worse!)

It's hard to if it’s a flop yet, but it's true the hype around halving seems way more muted this time. BTC hit a new ATH this year, I remember selling some of mine in 2022 at $19k and I feel sad. There's a lot going on rn in all sectors, not just in crypto. Let's wait and see how it all plays out.
