I am really into using crypto for gambling and I mostly use ethereum. I prefer it due to its relative stability meaning the earnings are worth it and rarely affected by crypto inflations. Other assets I have used are litecoin and USDT, with their stability still being a determining factor. For crypto users, what is your experience with other assets?
As i'm more old fashioned I don't prefer cryptoย
@dany Its one of the new trends I picked up. But in casino its use can end up to be a double gamble due to volatility i.e its fluctuating value
I have used Ethereum before for deposits and withdrawals and everything went well. I tend to stay away from Bitcoin due to volatility and use Tether instead. No problems to report using any crypto at online casinos or sportsbooks.
The only problem I would say about Ethereum is that the transactions can be a little slower. This is due to its huge blockchain network but we are only talking seconds here.
@tituskritย The major currencies are have little to non fluctuating value so this should not be your concern.ย
I have used Bitcoin too and its also slow in processing payments. Slower that ETH
Like a comment above said the major coins have relative stability so its not a worry. I use USDC USDT BTC and ETH.
I'd say ETH is a strong contender but not necessarily the best crypto for gaming. My caveat is due to its high transaction costsย
I do not prefer crypto, but I've heard good things about ETH. It is a strong competitor. I don't know if ETH could protect you from hacks or any types of vulnerabilities.
ETH has too high fees. I would say Dogecoin or BitcoinCash are the best for gambling as they tend to have the lowest transaction fees 🤠ย
Hungry for knowledge ๐ง
@anton I have never used Dogecoin. I fear its volatility. How stable is Bitcoin cash?
@amyxx It has one of the best infrastructure that make it less vulnerable to hacks. I can't say the same with most upcoming assets
ETH's decent for gaming, but those gas fees? Plus, transactions can lag, check out USDT, way cheaper and faster
Although it's not an accepted opinion at the moment, I believe ETH has more potential than BTC given where I began. It is unlikely that ETH will surpass, but rather that total gains will be more over the next ten years. Not significantly, and I'm not predicting the end of Bitcoin, but I've invested about 25% more of my longterm holdings in ETH than in BTC, even though they still make up the majority of my total investments as it stands.
