I used to watch my grandfather shuffle cards as a kids while he played with neighbors. As someone that young I thought it was cool that he did so fast and in so many ways. Hahaha

Are you trying to do it like a dealer or just for casual games?😏 I’ve found practicing the riffle shuffle helps a lot.

I learned to shuffle cards from my father. I can only do the simplest of shuffles but it does the job of mixing the cards well. The first place that I go to if I want to learn something is YouTube. I found this video with millions of views and a ton of likes on how to do the riffle shuffle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdCia_d1u5c

Bro, just pretend the cards are your ex’s texts, shuffle ‘em like you’re trying to forget!

If you have a card deck yourself start practicing one technique first before doing the other cool card shuffling techniques that you see online. Like for example the blackjack shuffling styles, it actually takes good finger coordination to do it as well but eventually if you keep practicing it it'll flow to your muscle memory.

U should buy a deck of cards first but I feel like honestly they use some sort of special card sets for some reason. Then, just focus on practicing one shuffling technique first and then master it. Youtube will be your bestfriend tho.

I think you should try the riffle shuffel, as I have been personally giving it a go and trust me its getting smoother every day. But I'm curious how long did it take for you guys to feel comfortable in it??

Does anyone here know anything about advanced shuffels such as overhand shuffles or Hindu shuffles. It would be really great to learn some new tricks that would come handy during game night.

@quantumpulse It took a while for me to become confident with shuffling and it is going to be the same for everyone who is new to it. When it comes to the more advanced shuffles that you mentioned I would suggest that YouTube would be your best option to learn them.

@graham yeah, Generally I have great patience but sometimes I simply runout of it XD. And about those shuffles would you recommend any specific youtube channels or should I just search it and go for the top results.

@quantumpulse LOL I know the feeling of running out of patience too well! No I don't recommend any particular YouTube channel. The video that I recommended was based on a quick search in YT and the number of views that it had. If you search for "how to shuffle cards" you might find even better videos than the one I recommended.
