Bingo is a fairly simple game, yet I've recently just found out there's actually some psychology involved when it comes to winning and people use this for their advantage. There are two theories that I found which:

1. Granville Method Theory created by Joseph E. Granville, which is a strategy that involves a card selection based on the idea of number balance and probability in the whole match. So this expects an equal number of high and low, even and odd, and numbers ending with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 will be called.

2. Tippett Method Theory created byย L.H.C Tippett, which states that the more numbers are called in a bingo game, the more those numbers will lead towards an overall median number.ย

Detailed articles about the strategies can be found here:ย  Strategies , Methods

Honestly I wanna try this all out from now on, Bingo is one of the first games I really enjoyed because it's mostly just pure luck, but i do wonder if these methods do actually work or if anyone has tried doing them

Although I don't play bingo myself, I find it interesting to read these strategies/theories. I wonder what's the statistics of winning when people used these strategies. If these strategies yield great results, I might try playing bingo soon 🤣ย

I don't think playing with strategies is fun and 99% of the casinos do NOT ALLOW strategies and may forfeit all your winnings if you play with such.

Wow this is interesting. I have never heard of strategies for winning at bingo! I used to play quite a lot of bingo when I lived in the UK and to me it was a total game of chance. Although I used to win fairly often, I always lost more than I won which is true for most forms of gambling.

I have no idea if these strategies work or not. I agree with @dany that if you are in a casino they will kick you out if they think you are using a strategy of any kind. The same probably applies in bingo halls as well. Good luck to any members who try these bingo strategies and win. Be sure to let us know on here if you have been successful!

I always thought Bingo was just pure luck! but these methods make it seem like thereโ€™s a bit more strategy involved. I might have to give these a shot next time I play 🤩ย

@abaes I still think it is pure luck TBH. The problem with these strategies for me is how you would use them. In the bingo halls I used to visit you couldn't choose your own cards - you just got the next one from the pile. If you have any luck with these strategies please let us know.

I think for some games playing with a strategy makes the fun go away.

Once again i never knew bingo could be more complex than I thought. This was just a family game for us but I guess it has a very professional side.

I agree takes the fun right out of it and Bingo is definitely one of those games that strategy kills the vibe and flow.

Bingo with strategies? Wild. Itโ€™s supposed to be a chill, luck-based game. These methods could work, but stressing numbers and patterns kinda kills the fun vibe. Play it for the laughs, not the tactics
